Exhibitor Feature: Red Dirt Primitives

Karen Riggs of Red Dirt Primitives has been creating unique items for more than twenty-seven years.  This Woodward, Oklahoma, resident says she started learning her craft from her mom when she was 18.  Since then, she's honed her craft and creates a number of one-of-a-kind items.  Dolls, tarts, wood items and painted crafts are all among the offerings that you will find each fall in Karen's booth during the Fair.  Karen feels that her primitives are "unique creations" that have the special ability "to make people smile." 

Karen started at the War Eagle Fair in 2011.  When asked what drew her to the Fair, she explains that she "heard it was a great show and great people and atmosphere."  Hearing these things, she just knew she wanted to be a part of the experience.  Karen loves the family feel of War Eagle, everyone helps everyone else out, even backing her car up to her trailer for her when her husband was unable to attend the show to help her wi…
